Clinical Pharmacology
The infusion of aniseed fruit has an expectorant, antispasmodic, carminative and laxative effect, and contributes to the normalization of the secretory and motor function of the gastrointestinal tract.
Anise fruits contain essential oil, which consists of:
- Anethol
- Methylhavicol.
- Anise aldehyde.
- Acetaldehyde.
- Anise ketone.
Indications
Inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract (as an expectorant) - as part of complex therapy.

Dosage and Administration
About 5 g (1 teaspoon) of the fruit is placed in an enamel bowl, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and draw in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, filter, squeeze the remaining raw material.
The volume of the resulting infusion is brought to 200 ml with boiled water.
Is ingested in the form of heat 1/4 cup 3-4 times a day 30 minutes before meals.
