Clinical Pharmacology
The decoction has astringent, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, hemostatic effect.
Indications
Inflammatory diseases of the mouth and pharynx (stomatitis, gingivitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, periodontitis); in gynecology (vaginitis, colpitis, cervical erosion).
Composition
Badana rhizomes.
Rhizomes contain tannins, arbutin, isocoumarin bergenin and other biologically active substances.

Dosage and Administration
2 filter bags (3.0 g) are placed in a glass or enamel bowl, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of boiling water, cover and leave for 30 minutes, periodically pressing the bags with a spoon, then squeezing them. The volume of the resulting broth is brought to 200 ml with boiled water.
Adverse reactions
Allergic reactions are possible.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the drug, pregnancy, lactation, children's age up to 18 years.
