Clinical Pharmacology
The use of syrup Bioaron C stimulates the immune system due to the substances contained in the aloe tree extract from the leaves. The drug has a stimulating effect on both humoral and cellular immunity: it causes an increase in the number of T and B lymphocytes, as well as the number of antibodies circulating in the blood, which leads to an increase in the body's resistance to bacterial and viral infections. In addition, Bioaron C syrup contributes to an increase in appetite.
Indications
In the treatment and prevention of relapse in children over 3 years old, suffering from recurrent viral and bacterial infections of the upper respiratory tract, such as:
- Chronic pharyngitis;
- Tonsillitis;
- Rhinitis;
- Laryngitis;
- Laryngotracheitis;
- Sinusitis;
- Angina.

Dosage and Administration
Orally, 30-40 minutes before meals.
- If the doctor has not appointed otherwise, the drug should be taken:
- Children aged 3 to 6 years: 2 times a day for 5 ml of the drug.
- Children over 6 years: 3 times a day for 5 ml of the drug.
The course of treatment is 2 weeks. Increasing the duration and conducting repeated courses of treatment is possible on the recommendation of a doctor. For dosing, use the measuring cup enclosed in the package.
Adverse reactions
Maybe:allergic reactions, diarrhea and nausea.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to the drug;
- Acute inflammatory diseases of the digestive system;
- Children's age up to 3 years (due to the lack of clinical data);
- Glucose or galactose malabsorption syndrome;
- Fructose intolerance;
- Deficiency of sucrase / isomaltase.
Drug interactions
The preparation contains ascorbic acid (vitamin C).
The combined use of the drug with sulfonamides can lead to the precipitation of sulfonamide crystals in acidic urine.
The drug may enhance the absorption of iron in the gastrointestinal tract.
The drug may enhance the effect of laxatives.
The drug may increase the rate of removal of amphetamine and tricyclic antidepressants.
Pregnancy and Lactation
Due to the lack of data on the safety of use of the drug by pregnant and lactating women, this group of patients is not recommended to take the drug.
Special instructions
Instructions for diabetic patients.A single dose of the drug (5 ml) contains about 3.93 g of sucrose, which corresponds to 0.33 XE, which should be considered for patients with diabetes.
In violation of renal function.A single dose of the drug (5 ml) contains 51 mg of ascorbic acid, which should be taken into account for people prone to the formation of oxalate kidney stones.
When conducting laboratory tests.The drug may distort the results of various laboratory tests (blood glucose, bilirubin, transaminases, lactate dehydrogenase)
Impact on the ability to drive vehicles and control mechanisms.The drug does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and engage in other potentially hazardous activities that require high concentration of attention and psychomotor speed reactions.
Overdosage
To date, overdose cases have not been described.
