Clinical Pharmacology
The action of this complex drug due to its components. Methenamine belongs to the class of antiseptics and disinfectants, to the group of aldehydes. The action is based on the ability of the drug to decompose in an acidic environment with the formation of formaldehyde, which in this case has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties.
The complex salt of methenamine is present to compensate for the deficiency of calcium ions, to reduce the permeability of the vascular wall (which is characteristic of any inflammation).
Indications
Symptomatic treatment of acute respiratory diseases and "cold" diseases (as part of complex therapy).
Composition
1 tablet contains:
- Methenamine calcium chloride - 500 mg.

Dosage and Administration
The drug should be taken for adults with initial cold symptoms. Inside 1 -2 pills 3-4 times / day. The course of treatment is 3-5 days.
Adverse reactions
