Clinical Pharmacology

Biologically active substances contained in the flowers of marigold (triterpene saponins, flavonoids, essential oil, sesquiterpenes, triterpenes, polysaccharides), have a local anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and reparative effect.

Indications

The drug is used for rinsing in the complex treatment of inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity (gingivitis, stomatitis, periodontitis) and throat (tonsillitis), symptomatic treatment of mild inflammatory processes of the skin and small superficial wounds.

Dosage and Administration

2 filter bags (3 g) are placed in a glass or enamel bowl, pour 100 ml (1/2 cup) of boiling water, cover and infuse for 30 minutes, periodically pressing the bags with a spoon, then squeezing them. The volume of the resulting infusion is brought to 100 ml with boiled water.

For rinsing the mouth and pharynx, use 1 / 2-1 glass of infusion 3-5 times a day in the form of heat.

Inside take 1-2 tablespoons 2-3 times daily before meals.

Before use, the infusion is recommended to shake.
