Clinical Pharmacology
Chamomile flowers reduce the proteolytic activity of pepsin, due to the presence of azulene and essential oils inhibit lipid peroxidation, which is due to the antioxidant effect. They have an antispasmodic effect, improve tissue regeneration processes, and also have a deodorizing and antipruritic effect.
Indications
- Gastritis, duodenitis, colitis, flatulence.
- Inflammatory diseases and skin conditions (including cracks, insect bites), oral mucosa and pharynx.
- Vaginitis.
Composition
100 g of the solution for oral, topical and external use contains: Liquid Chamomile extract (44: 100) 95881 g, Guayazulen 37 mg, Extragent Ethanol 50%, ammonia concentrated solution (to pH 80-85).
Excipients: Polysorbate 80 (twin 80).

Dosage and Administration
For diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, the drug is taken orally 2-3 times / day for 0.5 teaspoon of solution diluted in 200 ml of warm water. The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks, if necessary, repeat it.
For topical and external use, 0.5 tablespoon of Romazulan is diluted in 1 liter of water. Romazulan solution for external and local use (0.5 tablespoon per 1 l of water) can be used with dressings, for washing, as well as for enemas, rinses and vaginal douching.

Allergic reactions are possible.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the drug.

To date, the clinically significant drug interaction of Romazulan has not been described.
Pregnancy and Lactation
Adequate and strictly controlled studies of the safety of the drug during pregnancy and lactation was not conducted.
