Clinical Pharmacology

Combined product of plant origin; has a bronchodilator, mucolytic, expectorant and anti-inflammatory action.

Indications

Symptomatic therapy of acute and chronic respiratory diseases accompanied by dry cough or cough with difficult to separate sputum (pharyngitis, laryngitis, including “lecturing”, tracheitis, bronchitis).

Dosage and Administration

CHILDREN:

from 3 to 5 years - 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) 3 times a day;
from 6 to 14 years old - 1/2 ½ to 1 tsp (2.5 ml - 5.0 ml) 3 times a day.

ADULT and CHILD over 14 years old:

5,0 - 10,0 ml 3 times a day.

The course of treatment is 2 - 3 weeks. Increasing the duration and conducting repeated courses of treatment is possible on the recommendation of a doctor.

Adverse reactions

Allergic reactions are possible.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to drug components, children's age (up to 3 years).

Drug interactions

Not recommended simultaneous reception with antitussive drugs in connection with the possibility of violation of the discharge of diluted sputum.

Pregnancy and Lactation

Due to the lack of experience with pregnant and lactating women, prescribing this drug is not recommended for this group.

Special instructions

The drug contains sugar, it is necessary to take into account patients with diabetes, as well as persons on a low-calorie diet. In a single dose for adults (5.0 - 10.0 ml) contains 3.75 - 7.50 g of sucrose, which corresponds to 0.31 - 0.62 XE.
