Clinical Pharmacology

Endofalk - has a laxative effect.

Pharmacodynamics

The laxative effect of Endofalc is due to the action of the ingredients in the preparation and is manifested in the occurrence of diarrhea. Macrogol 3350 (polyethylene glycol) due to the creation of an isosmolar solution prevents absorption in the stomach and intestines and contributes to the accelerated passage and removal of the contents of the gastrointestinal tract. The electrolytes of salts that are part of the drug, prevent disruption of the water-salt balance of the body.

Pharmacokinetics

High molecular weight polyethylene glycols are not absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract and are not metabolized during passageway (they prevent undesirable gas formation caused by the metabolizing action of bacteria).

Indications

Preparation for endoscopic or radiological examination of the lower intestine; preparation for surgical procedures, which require the absence of intestinal contents - chyme.

Composition

1 bag of powder contains (55.318 g):

For complete bowel cleansing, it is recommended to prepare and take at least 3 liters of Endofal solution. The time during which the solution is taken is 3-4 hours.
