Clinical Pharmacology
Erythromycin-zinc complex.
Zener has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and comedolytic action.
Erythromycin acts bacteriostatic on microorganisms that cause acne: Propionibacterium acne and Streptococcus epidermidis. Zinc reduces the secretion of sebaceous glands, has an astringent effect.
Indications
Acne treatment.
Composition
1 bottle contains erythromycin - 1.2 g, zinc acetate dihydrate -360 mg (1 ml of the prepared solution - erythromycin 40 mg and zinc acetate 12 mg);
solvent:ethanol - 17 g, diisopropyl sebactat - 7.8 g

Dosage and Administration
Using the supplied applicator, the prepared Zineryt® solution is applied with a thin layer to the affected skin area 2 times / day: in the morning (before applying makeup) and in the evening (after washing). Apply the drug should be by tilting the bottle with the prepared solution down, with a slight pressure. The rate of application of the solution is regulated by the force of pressure of the applicator on the skin. Approximate single dose - 0.5 ml. After drying, the solution becomes invisible.
Course duration - 10-12 weeks. In some cases, clinical improvement occurs within 2 weeks.
Adverse reactions
Local reactions: sometimes there may be a burning sensation, irritation, dry skin at the site of application of the drug. As a rule, these phenomena are mild and do not require discontinuation of the drug and / or symptomatic therapy.
Contraindications
- hypersensitivity to erythromycin and other macrolides;
- hypersensitivity to zinc or other components of the drug.
Drug interactions
So far, no clinically significant interactions of Zinerit with other drugs have been established.
Special instructions
When using the drug, cross-resistance to other macrolide antibiotics, lincomycin, clindamycin may occur.
It is necessary to avoid getting the drug in the eyes or on the mucous membrane of the mouth and nose, because It may cause irritation and burns.
