Clinical Pharmacology
Influcid is a homeopathic remedy used for colds.
It has anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, expectorant and mucolytic action. It promotes immunity.
Indications
Prevention and treatment of influenza and other acute respiratory viral infections.
Composition
1 lozenge tablet contains: Aconitum D3 25 mg, Gelsemium D3 25 mg, Ipecacuanha D3 25 mg, Phosphorus D5 25 mg, Bryonia D2 25 mg, Eupatorium perfoliatum D1 25 mg
Auxiliary substances: Lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, wheat starch

Dosage and Administration
The drug should be taken 30 minutes before or 30 minutes after a meal. pills should be slowly absorbed in the mouth. Children from 3 to 5 years old are recommended to dissolve the tablet in a small amount of liquid or give it in a crushed form under the tongue.
For acute illness For acute illness, prescribe:
- Children from 3 to 6 years old - 1 tab. every 2 hours (no more than 6 times / day) until the onset of improvement, then - 1/2 tab. 3 times / day until complete recovery.
- Children from 6 to 12 years old are prescribed 1 tab. every hour (no more than 7-8 times / day) until the onset of improvement, then - 1 tab. 3 times / day until complete recovery.
- Adults and children over 12 years old are prescribed 1 tab. every hour (no more than 12 times / day) before the onset of improvement, then - 1-2 tab. 3 times / day until complete recovery.
For the prevention of SARS For the prevention of SARS prescribed:
- Children from 3 to 6 years old - 1/2 tab. 2 times / day.
- Children from 6 to 12 years old - 1 tab. 2 times / day.
- Adults and children over 12 years old are prescribed 1 tab. 3 times / day
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the drug.
It is not recommended to prescribe the drug in the form of pills to children under the age of 3 years (due to the lack of clinical data).
Pregnancy and Lactation
Use of the drug Influcid during pregnancy and lactation (breastfeeding) is possible only if the intended benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus and child.
Special instructions
With the use of Influcid, a temporary deterioration of the condition is possible. In this case, the patient should stop taking the drug and consult a doctor.
At use of Influcid use of other medicines is allowed.
The patient should be informed that if there is no improvement in acute illness after 2 days, the drug should be discontinued and consult a doctor.
Taking the drug Influcid in the form of pills can have a negative effect on patients with celiac disease and lactose intolerance. Such patients are advised to take the drug in the form of an oral solution (Influcid pp. Oral. Flu. -Kaps./pro. 30 ml box. 1 Deutsche Homeopati-Union GmbH and Co.).
