Clinical Pharmacology
Kameton is a combined drug whose action is determined by its constituent components.
Chlorobutanol hemidrate has a slight anesthetic, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effect.
Camphor racemic has an irritating and partly antiseptic effect, increases blood flow at the site of application.
Levomenthol has a local irritating effect, accompanied by a feeling of cold, slight burning and tingling, has a local anesthetic effect, and also has weak antiseptic properties.
Eucalyptus leaf oil has a stimulating effect on mucosal receptors, and also has a weak local anti-inflammatory and antiseptic activity.
Due to the low systemic absorption data on the pharmacokinetics of the drug are not available.
Indications
Combined therapy of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract (rhinitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis).
Composition
1 cylinder contains:
Active substances (content in one cylinder): chlorobutanol hemihydrate, synthetic camphor, L-menthol (levomenthol), eucalyptus oil, 0.1 g each;
Auxiliary substance: isopropyl myristate, propellant R 134a (1,1,1,2 tetrafluoroethane).

Dosage and Administration
Spray in the nasal or oral cavity in the inspiratory phase 3-4 times a day. At one session of inhalation, 2-3 sprays are performed, the sprayed preparation is inhaled for 1-2 minutes.
With one click on the valve, 100 mg of the drug is sprayed from the bottle.
Adverse reactions
Individual intolerance, allergic reactions in the form of skin rash are possible.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the drug. Children's age up to 5 years.
Drug interactions
Systemic effects when using the drug for its intended purpose are practically excluded, which allows parallel use of other drugs without the risk of their interaction with the components of the drug.
Pregnancy and Lactation
Sufficient experience in the use of the drug during pregnancy and lactation is not. If necessary, the use of the drug during pregnancy should assess the potential benefits to the mother and the possible risk to the fetus. Due to the low systemic absorption of the components that make up the drug, its use is possible during breastfeeding.
Special instructions
When spraying in the nasal cavity, do not tilt the head back or turn the balloon upside down. It is not recommended to use the same balloon to several persons in order to avoid the spread of infection. Avoid contact with eyes during spraying.
The contents of the cylinders are under pressure, so the cylinders should be protected from shocks and direct sunlight, they can not be heated, broken, punctured or burned, even when they are empty.
