Keto plus is a combined antifungal medication.
Ketoconazole is a synthetic imidazole-dioxalane derivative. It has antifungal effects.Active against dermatophytes (Trichophyton spp., Epydermophyton spp., Microsporum spp.), yeast and yeast-like mushrooms (Candida spp., Malassezia futur / Pityrosporum ovale /).
Zinc pyrithione has an antiproliferative effect on epithelial cells; has some activity against Pityrosporum ovale and Pityrosporum orbiculare, causing excessive peeling of the skin.
The drug quickly reduces the scaling and itching of the scalp associated with dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis.
Composition
Active substances: ketoconazole 20 mg; zinc pyrithione 10 mg;
Excipients: Velco SX 200 shampoo base (ethylene glycol mono- and distearate, sodium lauryl sulfate, ethylated citrate sugar coconutolitragramol and coconut monoethanol and ethanol) "Swiss bouquet", purified water.

Special instructions
When applying shampoo, avoid contact with eyes. If shampoo gets into eyes, rinse them with water.
When using the drug in patients who use GCS for local use, in order to avoid withdrawal, their use should be continued against the background of using Keto shampoo plus followed by gradual lifting of GCS for 2-3 weeks.
In rare cases, when using Keto shampoo plus there was an increase in hair loss.
