Clinical Pharmacology

Linex® normalizes intestinal microflora. One capsule of the drug Linex® contains at least 1.2 x 107 live lyophilized lactic acid bacteria: Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium infantis, Enterococcus faecium. Live lactic acid bacteria are a normal component of the natural intestinal microflora and are already contained in the digestive tract of a newborn baby. These bacteria are of great biochemical importance to the human body:

- fermentation of lactose shifts the pH to the acidic side. Acidic environment inhibits the growth of pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic bacteria and ensures optimal action of digestive enzymes;

- participate in the synthesis of vitamins B, K, ascorbic acid, thereby increasing the body's resistance to adverse environmental factors;

- participate in the metabolism of bile pigments and bile acids;

- synthesize substances with antibacterial activity;

- boosts the body's immune reactivity.

Indications

Treatment and prevention of dysbacteriosis. Dysbacteriosis is manifested by the following symptoms: diarrhea (diarrhea), dyspepsia (indigestion), constipation, flatulence (bloating), nausea, belching, vomiting, abdominal pain, allergic skin reactions are possible.

Dosage and Administration

Inside: children from 6 months to 3 years - 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) 3 times a day; from 3 years to 8 years - 1 teaspoon (5 ml) 3 times a day; from 8 to 18 years - 1 teaspoon 4 times a day; adults - 2 teaspoons 3-4 times a day. The duration of the drug is 5-7 days. Increasing the duration and conducting repeated courses of treatment is possible on the recommendation of a doctor.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, children up to 6 months, pregnancy and breastfeeding period, sucrase / isomaltase deficiency, fructose intolerance, glucose-gapaktosny malabsorption.

Drug interactions

Concurrent use with antitussive drugs, as well as with drugs that reduce the formation of sputum is not recommended.

Special instructions
