Clinical Pharmacology
Mataren® Plus has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-edema effect. May cause slight local hyperemia of the skin, while not having a pronounced irritant effect on the skin.
Mataren® Plus reduces pain in the joints (including in the joints of the spine) and in muscles at rest and during movement, and contributes to an increase in the volume of movement of the joints (in the area of application of the cream). Reduces morning stiffness and swelling of joints.
Meloxicam selectively inhibits cyclooxygenase 2, violates the metabolism of arachidonic acid, reduces the number of prostaglandins (mediators of pain and inflammation) in the focus of inflammation.
The tincture of chilli pepper contains capsaicin, which has an irritating effect on the sensitive receptors of the skin, which leads to a local anesthetic effect, to an improvement in blood circulation in the skin and subcutaneous tissue. Improvement of the local blood flow is accompanied by increased blood circulation in the underlying tissues, which helps to remove the substrate of inflammation from the pathological focus.
When combined, meloxicam and capsaicin have a greater effect due to synergism compared with the individual effect of each of these components.
Due to the optimal combination of components, Mataren® Plus provides an enhanced analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect.
Indications
Inflammatory and degenerative diseases of the musculoskeletal system.
Rheumatic lesions of soft tissue.
Pain: bursitis, tendonitis, lumbago, sciatica, neuralgia, myalgia, arthralgia, sciatica, post-traumatic pain (traumatic injuries, dislocations, sprains, muscle and tendon, muscle tears, without compromising the integrity of the skin), sore muscles and joints caused by the heavy physical exertion.
Composition
1 g of cream contains:

Dosage and Administration
Topically. Lightly rubbed a strip of cream with a length of 1 to 5 cm, the multiplicity of application - 1-3 times a day. The amount of cream and the frequency of application may vary depending on the area of application and the individual reaction to the cream. To enhance the effect, you can apply a dry heating bandage.
Adverse reactions
The resulting side effects depend on individual sensitivity. There may be allergic reactions from the skin (itching, skin rash), peeling of the skin, hyperemia.

Contraindications
