Clinical Pharmacology

Combined medication, the action of which is due to its constituent components. It has antipyretic, analgesic, vasoconstrictor effect, eliminates the symptoms of "cold". Narrows blood vessels and eliminates swelling of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity and nasopharynx.

Paracetamol It has an antipyretic effect, blocking the COX mainly in the central nervous system, affecting the centers of pain and thermoregulation. Virtually no anti-inflammatory effect. Paracetamol does not affect the synthesis of prostaglandins in peripheral tissues, thus not adversely affecting water-salt metabolism (sodium and water ion retention) and the gastrointestinal mucosa.

Indications

Dosage and Administration

For oral use.

The contents of the bag are dissolved in 1 cup of boiled hot water. Consume hot. You can add sugar to taste.

Repeated dose can be taken every 4 hours (no more than 3 doses within 24 hours).

Theraflu Extra can be taken at any time of the day, but the best effect is achieved when taking the drug at bedtime, at night.

If there is no relief of symptoms within 3 days after the start of the drug, the patient should consult a doctor.

Adverse reactions

Allergic reactions: possible - skin rash, itching, urticaria, angioedema.

Contraindications

Antidepressants, anti-parkinsonian drugs, antipsychotics, phenothiazine derivatives - increase the risk of urinary retention, dry mouth, and constipation.

Pregnancy and Lactation

It is not recommended to use the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding due to the lack of data on the safe use of the drug in these individuals.

Special instructions

In order to avoid toxic damage to the liver, taking the drug should not be combined with the use of alcoholic beverages.

Overdosage
