PEPSAN-R - antisecretory, carminative, anti-inflammatory.
Pharmacodynamics
It has anti-inflammatory effect, reduces the secretion of hydrochloric acid in the stomach, reduces gas formation in the intestine.
Guayazulen has a pronounced anti-inflammatory effect, reduces allergic reactions, strengthens regenerative processes, has an antioxidant effect. Due to the inhibitory effect on the release of histamine from mast cells, cells of the gastric mucosa, inhibits acid secretion.
Dimethicone - hydrophobic polymeric substance with low surface tension, which reduces gas formation in the intestine and covers the wall of the alimentary canal with a protective film.
Indications
- gastralgia;
- gastroesophageal reflux disease grade 0-1;
- increased acidity of gastric juice;
- functional disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, manifesting heartburn, belching, increased gas, nausea, constipation and / or diarrhea;
- Preparation for X-ray, ultrasound or instrumental examination of the abdominal organs.
Composition
1 capsule contains:
Active substances: dimethicon300 mg; guayazulene 4 mg;
Excipients: gelatin; glycerol; sorbitol 70% non-crystallized; patented blue V; titanium dioxide; purified water.

Dosage and Administration
Take 1 capsule or sachet 2-3 times a day before meals or in the event of pain. The course of treatment is determined individually.
When preparing for studies of the abdominal organs, 1 capsule or sachet is prescribed 2-3 times a day on the eve of the study and 1 capsule or sachet in the morning on the study day.
Contraindications
- hypersensitivity to the drug;
- children's age up to 14 years (capsules);
- children and adolescents up to 18 years (gel for oral administration).
