With frequent acute urinary tract infections in women, intravaginally is administered simultaneously with oral treatment.

Adverse reactions

On the part of the digestive system: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.

Allergic reactions: skin rash, itching.

Contraindications

Severe renal dysfunction (CK <10 ml="" min="" pronounced="" hepatic="" dysfunction="" i="" and="" iii="" trimesters="" of="" pregnancy="" childhood="" hypersensitivity="" to="" pipemidic="" acid="" p="">

Drug interactions

At simultaneous use with the preparations alkalizing urine, activity of Pipemidic acid amplifies.

Pregnancy and Lactation

Pipemidic acid is contraindicated for use in the I and III trimesters of pregnancy. Use in the second trimester of pregnancy and lactation (breastfeeding) should be carried out with caution, only in cases where the expected therapeutic effect for the mother outweighs the potential risk of side effects in the fetus or child.

Special instructions

In the course of treatment, ultraviolet irradiation should be avoided due to the high risk of photosensitization; increase the amount of fluid consumed (under the control of diuresis).
