Clinical Pharmacology
Combined hemorrhoidal remedy. Tribenozide reduces capillary permeability and improves
vascular tone, antagonistically affects some endogenous substances that act as mediators
with the development of inflammation and pain. Lidocaine has a local anesthetic effect. The drug causes rapid
relief of symptoms caused by hemorrhoids (pain, itching, and skin tension).
Indications
Hemorrhoids (internal and external).
Composition
100 g of cream contain
Active substances: tribenoside 5.00 g, lidocaine hydrochloride 2.12 g
Excipients: cetomacrogol 1000 4.44 g, cetyl alcohol 5 g, isopropyl palmitate 2 g, liquid paraffin 10 g,
methyl parahydroxybenzoate 0.18 g, propyl parahydroxybenzoate 0.05 g, sorbitan stearate 1.56 g, sorbitol 6 g, stearic
acid 9 g, water 54.65 g

Dosage and Administration
Rectally. When expressed clinical symptoms cream should be applied in the morning and evening. With regression of acute symptoms, the frequency of application is reduced to 1 time per day. For internal hemorrhoidal sites, the cream is injected with a nozzle. 30 g of cream (1 tube) is enough for approximately 20-30 applications.
Adverse reactions
On the part of the immune system:
Very rarely (<1/10 000): anaphylactic reactions, including angioedema, swelling of the face, bronchospasm and
cardiovascular disorders.
Skin and Subcutaneous Tissues:
Rarely (> 1/10 000, <1/1 000): skin reactions at the application site (burning, rash, pruritus and urticaria). These symptoms may extend beyond the site of use.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, liver failure, pregnancy (I term).

Interaction cases are not registered.
Pregnancy and Lactation
During pregnancy, Procto-Glyvenol is not prescribed in the first trimester. When using the drug in the II and III trimesters of pregnancy, it is necessary to take into account the possible risk to the fetus.
If necessary, the use of the drug during breastfeeding should weigh the expected benefits of therapy for the mother and the potential risk to the child.
Special instructions
If the symptoms of the disease do not diminish in the course of treatment or the appearance of new unusual sensations is noted, consult a doctor. When applying Procto-Glyvenol® cream, it is necessary to monitor the hygiene of the anal area, avoid excessive stress, take all measures to maintain a soft stool consistency.
Influence on ability to drive vehicles and mechanisms
The drug does not affect the concentration of attention and the speed of mental and motor reactions when used in recommended doses.
Overdosage
Cases of drug overdose are not registered. In case of accidental ingestion, it is recommended washing the gastrointestinal tract, as well as symptomatic supportive therapy.
