Clinical Pharmacology
Bufeksamak (arylacetic acid derivative) has an anti-inflammatory effect. Bismuth subhallate has an astringent effect and promotes wound healing. Titanium dioxide has a knitting and drying effect, promotes wound healing. Lidocaine Hydrochloride Hydrate is a local anesthetic.
Indications
Hemorrhoids of the 1st and 2nd degree, anal fissures, acute and chronic anal eczema, inflammation of the rectum (proctitis).
Composition
1 candle contains: bufeksamak - 250 mg, bismuth subgallate - 100 mg, titanium dioxide - 100 mg, lidocaine hydrochloride hydrate - 10 mg Auxiliary substance: 1540 mg solid fat.

Dosage and Administration
Apply rectally 1 suppository 1-2 times a day, if possible after emptying the bowel. It is recommended to continue the use of the drug after the abatement of acute events for 8 to 10 days.
Adverse reactions
Hypersensitivity reactions to the components of the drug (burning, itching, reddening of the skin of the perianal zone, edema, blistering, scales, etc.) are possible.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the drug components, specific inflammatory processes (syphilis, tuberculosis), children's age, pregnancy, lactation.
Special instructions
In the absence of effect, as well as the appearance of unpleasant sensations and other side effects, discontinue use of the drug and consult a doctor. Long-term use of the drug is not recommended. If necessary, long-term treatment should use drugs that do not contain local anesthetics. With the simultaneous use of Proktozan® and a condom, a decrease in the condom strength may be observed, which reduces their reliability.
