Clinical Pharmacology

Phytopreparation used in diseases of the prostate gland. Prostanorm has a pronounced prostatotropic effect due to the anti-inflammatory, analgesic, bacteriostatic (staphylococcus, enterococci) effect. Prostanorm^®improves microcirculation of prostate tissue, ejaculate indices (including sperm motility) in case of pathozoospermia and prostate gland secretion on the basis of chronic prostatitis; normalizes urination.

Indications

As an anti-inflammatory and normalizing diuresis agent for the treatment of chronic nonspecific prostatitis in adults.

Composition

active substances: a mixture of plant materials - Hypericum herb, Canadian goldenrod herb, licorice root, rhizomes with Echinacea purpurea; ethanol content not less than 37%

Dosage and Administration

Inside 1/2 teaspoons (2.5 ml) of the liquid diluted in 1/4 cup of water, or 1-2 pills. 3 times a day 30 minutes before or 40 minutes after meals. The course is 4-6 weeks. Conducting a second course is possible after consulting a doctor.

Adverse reactions

Allergic reactions are possible.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity; acute glomerulonephritis.

With caution: progressive course of chronic diseases (for the treatment of which the use of immunostimulating drugs is not recommended).

Special instructions

Given that Echinacea is a part of Prostanorm, it is necessary to use the drug with caution in case of progressive diseases, for the treatment of which the use of immunostimulating agents is not recommended.
