Clinical Pharmacology
Pumpan is a complex homeopathic medicine.
Included in the hawthorn drug (Crataegus), arnica (Arnica), Foxglove (Digitalis), lily of the valley (Convallaria), potassium carbonate increases the force of myocardial contractions, slows the heart rate, dilate the coronary artery to improve blood flow to the myocardium, reduce the frequency and severity of angina attacks .
Pumpan reduces the excitability of the nervous system, has antihypertensive, antianginal and antioxidant effects, improves the rheological properties of blood, microcirculation and metabolism of myocardial cells, reduces lipid peroxidation, increases diuresis.
Indications
As part of complex therapy for:
CHD; hypertension; chronic heart failure stage I-II; neurocirculatory dystonia.
Composition
100 ml:
- hawthorn (Crataegus) D1 20 ml
- mountain arnica (Arnica) D6 10 ml
- potassium carbonate (Kalium carbonicum) D6 10 ml
- Digitalis purple (Digitalis) D12 10 ml
- May lily of the valley (Convallaria) D12 10 ml

Dosage and Administration
When CHD adults appoint 1 tab. or 10 drops 3 times / day. Duration of treatment is 1-2 months. With the stabilization of the state go to maintenance therapy 2 times / day.
In hypertension, adults and adolescents are prescribed 1 tab. or 10 drops 3 times / day. Duration of treatment - 2-3 months. Then prescribe maintenance therapy 2 times / day under the control of blood pressure.
In chronic heart failure stage I-II, adults and adolescents are prescribed 1 tab. or 10 drops, children up to 12 years old - 1/2 tab. or 5 drops 3 times / day. Duration of treatment - 2-3 months. Then prescribe maintenance therapy 2 times / day.
For neurocirculatory dystonia, adults and adolescents are prescribed 1 tab. or 10 drops 3 times / day. Duration of treatment - 2-3 months. Then prescribe maintenance therapy 2 times / day.
At the onset of the disease and in cases requiring rapid relief of symptoms, it is possible to administer the drug to adults and adolescents 8-10 drops, children under 12 years old - 5 drops every 0.5-1 hours, but not more than 8 times / day. After improving the condition, the drug is prescribed 3 times / day.
The drug Pumpan take 30 minutes before or 1 hour after a meal. Drops taken in pure form or diluted in 1 tablespoon of water, holding some time in your mouth before swallowing. The tablet should be kept under the tongue until complete resorption.
Adverse reactions
Seldom: increased salivation.
