Indications

Composition

Dosage and Administration
The drug should be used after hygiene.
Suppositories are introduced into the rectum in the morning, at night, and after each bowel movement. Adults and children over 12 years old are recommended to administer 1 suppository up to 4 times / day.
Children under the age of 12 years, the drug is prescribed under medical supervision.
Adverse reactions
Local reactions: hyperemia, itching.
Allergic reactions are possible.
Contraindications
- granulocytopenia;

Overdosage
Possible symptoms may be associated with systemic absorption of benzocaine, which is part of the drug, and include drowsiness, anxiety, agitation; in severe cases, seizures; extremely rarely - methemoglobinemia (manifested by impaired respiration and cyanosis).
With a significant excess of the recommended single and daily doses of the shark liver oil included in the preparation, a tendency to increased blood coagulation may develop.
Treatment: with methemoglobinemia - IV the introduction of methylene blue.
