Clinical Pharmacology
Rhinopront® is a combination drug, has antihistamine, local anti-inflammatory and vasoconstrictor action. Reduces the severity of local exudative manifestations, reduces the permeability of capillaries of the nasal mucosa. Due to phenylephrine causes vasoconstriction and reduction of swelling of the nasal mucosa. Eliminates the effects of rhinitis, burning in the eyes, feeling of heaviness in the head for 10-12 hours.
Indications
- acute rhinitis (vasomotor, allergic, infectious and inflammatory);
- sinusitis;
- hay fever.
Composition
1 capsule contains:
Active substances: Carbinoxamine maleate 4.0 mg, phenylephrine hydrochloride 20.0 mg.

Dosage and Administration
Orally, 2 times a day (in the morning and in the evening) on 1 capsule (without chewing, washing down with a glass of water) or on 3 measured spoons of syrup
Adverse reactions
Dryness of the oral mucosa, loss of appetite, dyspepsia, blurred vision, dizziness, headache, insomnia, anxiety, lethargy, palpitations, cardialgia, increased blood pressure, changes in the pattern of peripheral blood, skin allergic reactions.
Contraindications
- hypersensitivity;
- arterial hypertension;
- thyrotoxicosis;
- pheochromocytoma;
- angle-closure glaucoma;
- prostatic hypertrophy;
- pregnancy;
- lactation period.
Drug interactions
Incompatible with MAO inhibitors; adrenomimetic action is enhanced against the background of guanethidine and isobarin.
Halothane increases the risk of arrhythmia.
Pregnancy and Lactation
When pregnancy is appointed according to strict indications, taking into account the possible risk.
Special instructions
In patients with angina, trimetazidine from the 15th day of treatment increases coronary reserve (the time until the occurrence of ischemic disturbances during exercise), limits changes in pressure during exercise without changing heart rate, reduces the frequency of strokes and reduces nitrate consumption.
Overdosage
Symptoms (in children and seniors): excitation of the central nervous system.
