
In structure and action, salbutamol is close to other beta2-adrenergic stimulants. It has a bronchodilatory and tocolytic (relaxing uterus muscles) action. In therapeutic doses, it usually does not cause tachycardia (palpitations) and changes in blood pressure.
Treatment and prevention of reversible airway obstruction in:
- bronchial asthma (including nighttime attacks of bronchial asthma);
- chronic obstructive bronchitis;
- emphysema and other diseases of the respiratory system, accompanied by the occurrence of bronchospasm.
1 tablet contains 6 mg of salbutamol, theophylline 200 mg.
