Chondroitin sulfate is a high molecular weight mucopolysaccharide that is a natural component of cartilage tissue. Chondroitin sulfate improves phosphorus-calcium metabolism in cartilage tissue, inhibits enzymes that cause damage to cartilage tissue, inhibits degeneration (destruction) of cartilage tissue, stimulates the synthesis of glycosaminoglycans, promotes regeneration (restoration) of cartilaginous surfaces of joints, accelerates the processes of their repair, prevents the collapse of connective tissue ... This results in less pain and increased mobility in the affected joints. Meloxicam is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that has anti-inflammatory, analgesic effects. Meloxicam selectively inhibits cyclooxygenase 2, disrupts the metabolism of arachidonic acid, and reduces the amount of prostaglandins (mediators of pain and inflammation) in the focus of inflammation.
