Dosage and Administration

The drug is applied externally. Before use, a bottle of Tomicidom is shaken and checked the transparency of the liquid.
The opacified drug is not suitable for use.
Treatment of angina. The dose of rinse Tomicida is 10-15 ml.
Contact with the surface of the mucosa should be 3-5 minutes. Rinse frequency 5-6 times a day. For rinsing it is recommended to use the drug in a heated form (from 37 to 42 ° C). The term of application - until the disappearance of symptoms.
Treatment of pyoderma. Tomicid applied in various forms of pyoderma:

  • with superficial strepto-staphyloderma;
  • with deep forms of pyoderma (boils, carbuncles, hydradenitis);
  • with secondary forms of pyoderma, complicating the course of various dermatoses (eczema, neurodermatitis);
  • with trophic ulcers, complicated by secondary purulent infection.

The treatment is carried out by applying a wet dressing soaked in Tomicidom on the affected lesions 2-3 times a day until the symptoms of the disease disappear.
Treatment of purulent wounds. Before using thicicide, it is recommended to completely remove the purulent necrotic substrate from the wound. Then the wound cavity is loosely tamponised with Tomicidom. Dressings are carried out 1 time per day until the appearance of bleeding juicy granulations in the wound. Subsequent treatment is carried out with tomicide in combination with oil (petrolatum or castor oil) in equal proportions, until the wound is completely healed.
The amount of Tomicida used for 1 dressing depends on the size and shape of the purulent cavity and is, on average, 5-10 ml.
Tomicid can be used for washing closed purulent cavities (fistulous passages, chronic osteomyelitis, etc.), localized in the connective and bone tissue.
Prevention of postoperative wound suppuration. To prevent suppuration of postoperative wounds, Tomicid should be applied in the form of wet dressings applied to the wound surface immediately after surgery 1 time per day during the first 3-5 days. After this period, in the absence of inflammation, the use of thicicide should be discontinued.
It is allowed to use Tomicida together with other drugs (antibiotics, sulfonamides).
