Clinical Pharmacology
The active principle of the drug is an ester of borneol and isovalerianic acid.
It has a moderately pronounced sedative effect, which occurs slowly, but is fairly stable.
In addition, the drug has an antispasmodic effect on the smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract.
Indications
- Increased nervous irritability.
- Insomnia.
- Functional disorders of the cardiovascular system.
- Spasms of the gastrointestinal tract.
Composition
1 tablet contains:
Active substances: valerian extract thick - 20 mg.
Excipients: magnesium carbonate basic, potato starch, talc, edible gelatin, refined sugar, titanium dioxide, beeswax, paraffin, sunflower oil, quinoline yellow, aerosil - sufficient amount to obtain a tablet weighing 0.18 g

Dosage and Administration
Is ingested 1-2 pills 3 times a day after meals.
Adverse reactions
Drowsiness, weakness (especially when used in high doses).
With prolonged use: constipation.
In some cases: the development of allergic reactions.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the drug.
Drug interactions
Strengthens effect of somnolent and sedatives, and also antispasmodics.

With long-term use in large doses, it is possible to reduce psychomotor reactions, which should be considered when driving vehicles, working with mechanisms, etc.
Overdosage
Symptoms: overdose is accompanied by increased side effects of the drug, discomfort from the gastrointestinal tract, depression, drowsiness or agitation, nausea, vomiting.
Treatment: induction of vomiting, gastric lavage (no later than 2 hours after taking the drug). Symptomatic therapy.
