Wormwood tincture is a choleretic and appetite-enhancing agent.
Indications
Hypo-and anocidal gastritis, chronic cholecystitis, biliary dyskinesia, poor appetite.

Dosage and Administration
About 10 g (2 tablespoons) of grass of wormwood is placed in an enamel bowl, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and heat on a boiling water bath with periodic stirring for 15 minutes, cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, filter, the remaining raw material is pressed. The volume of the resulting infusion is brought to 200 ml with boiled water. Infusion is taken internally in the form of heat 1/4 cup 3 times a day 30 minutes before meals. The course of treatment is 20-25 days. Before use, the infusion is recommended to shake.
Adverse reactions
Allergic reactions, heartburn, gastralgia, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting (with prolonged use) are possible.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the drug and other plants of the Astro family; increased gastric secretion, hyperacid gastritis, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer, reflux esophagitis, acute cholecystitis, calculous cholecystitis; pregnancy, breastfeeding period, children under 12 years old.

Pregnancy and Lactation
Use of the drug is contraindicated in pregnancy and during breastfeeding.

The drug does not affect the ability to perform potentially hazardous activities that require high concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions (including driving, working with moving mechanisms).
Overdosage
Symptoms: tremor, headache, dizziness, hallucinations, convulsions. Treatment: symptomatic.
