Clinical Pharmacology
Hawthorn fruits - a cardiotonic means of plant origin. Infusion of hawthorn fruit has a cardiotonic, antispasmodic, moderate sedative effect, exhibits hypotensive properties, normalizes blood clotting rates.
Indications
In the complex therapy of functional disorders of cardiovascular activity (neuro-circulatory dystonia, cardialgia).

Dosage and Administration
1 filter bag (3 g) is placed in a glass or enamel bowl, pour 100 ml (1/2 cup) of boiling water, cover and infuse for 15 minutes, periodically pressing the bag with a spoon, then wring it out. The volume of the resulting infusion is brought to 100 ml with boiled water.
Administered orally on 1/2 glasses 2-3 times a day in 30 minutes prior to food. The course of treatment is 20-30 days.
Before use, the infusion is recommended to shake.
Adverse reactions
Allergic reactions are possible. With prolonged use of the drug in high doses, drowsiness, lowering blood pressure, bradycardia are possible.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the drug, pregnancy (I term), children under 12 years of age.
Drug interactions
When combined with cardiac glycosides, cardiotonic effect is enhanced; with beta-blockers - increased hypotensive effect.
Special instructions
During treatment, blood pressure monitoring is necessary.
