Clinical Pharmacology

Solution for additional moistening, lubrication and protection of the front surface of the eye (cornea and conjunctiva).

Hyaluronic acid (in the form of sodium salt), which is part of the solution, is a natural polysaccharide compound contained in the tissues of the eye, as well as in other tissues and fluids of the human body. Sodium hyaluronate molecules have a pronounced ability to bind water molecules. An aqueous solution of sodium hyaluronate has the necessary viscosity and high adhesive properties with respect to the cornea, thereby forming a uniform, persistent tear film on the cornea surface, which is not washed off during blinking and does not reduce visual acuity. Thus, the eye remains permanently protected from the sensation of dryness and irritation, which often occur on contact with the environment, as well as on wearing contact lenses.

Dexapanthenol, which is a part of the solution, effectively supports the moisturizing properties of sodium hyaluronate and thus ensures the needs of eye tissue for intensive regeneration.

The use of Khilozar-Komod's solution brings quick relief from eye irritation, helps relieve fatigue, and maintains a healthy eye condition. The use of the solution makes wearing contact lenses more comfortable, while Chilozar-Komod does not deposit on the surface of the lenses.

Chilozar-Chest does not contain preservatives, which ensures its good tolerability even with prolonged use.

Indications

For additional hydration, lubrication and protection of the front surface of the eye (cornea and conjunctiva), elimination of discomfort when feeling "dry", foreign body feeling, burning in the eyes, including those that occur under the influence of:

Climatic factors such as air conditioning in the car, in the plane; wind, cold, intense solar radiation, ecologically unhealthy air or cigarette smoke
Intense visual load, for example, during long-term work with a computer, a camera, with excessive pastime in front of the TV, the need to control vehicles at night
Wearing soft and hard contact lenses

Composition

1 ml of solution contains:
active substance: sodium hyaluronate (sodium salt of hyaluronic acid) - 1.0 mg, dexpanthenol - 20.0 mg
Excipients: sodium dihydrophosphate dihydrate, sodium hydrophosphate dihydrate, sorbitol, water.

Dosage and Administration

The solution should be instilled 1 drop in the conjunctival sac of each eye 3 times / day. If necessary, you can bury more often. The frequency of application of the solution is set individually, as needed and according to the recommendations of an ophthalmologist or contact lens specialist. There are no restrictions on the duration of the drug.

When wearing hard and soft contact lenses may be instilled into the conjunctival sac without removing the lenses.

Adverse reactions

When applied according to indications in recommended doses, the side effect of the drug is not marked.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug.
It is not recommended to bury Hilozar-Komod more often 10 times / day for epithelium damage and corneal injuries.

Special instructions

When instillation of the solution Khilozar-Chest should avoid contact with the tip of the dropper with the surface of the eye and skin.

If after applying the Khilozar-Komod solution for several days the discomfort persists, and also if necessary very frequent (more than 10 times / day) instillation of the solution, consult with an ophthalmologist.

When using the Khilozar-Komod solution together with other ophthalmologic preparations, an interval of at least 30 minutes should be observed between instillation of Chilozar-Komod and the use of eye drops. Ophthalmic ointments should be applied after instillation of the Hilozar-Komod solution.

Chest system is provided only for individual use.

Due to the special design of the tanks and valves of the container in which the solution is placed, there is no penetration of air from the outside, the same size and speed of extraction of the drop, regardless of the degree of applied force.

Metal parts and valves of the container in contact with the solution are partially covered with a thin layer of silver, which, together with the absolute tightness of the system, ensures the sterility of the solution in the absence of preservatives in it.

Before each instillation of the Hilozar-Komod solution, you need to remove the colored cap covering the container's dropper. Before using the Khilozar-Komod solution for the first time, it is necessary to turn the container with the dropper down and press on its base several times until the first drop of the solution appears on the tip of the dropper. After that, the dropper is ready for use.

When instillation of the solution Khilozar-Komod it is necessary to hold the container with a dropper down, quickly and vigorously pressing on its base. Thus, only one drop of the drug is removed. After the procedure, it is required to tightly put a colored cap on the dropper.
