Clinical Pharmacology
The decoction of Eleksol collection has antimicrobial activity against staphylococcus, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Proteus and some other microorganisms; It has an anti-inflammatory effect and stimulates reparative processes.
Indications
In the complex therapy:
diseases of the respiratory tract and ENT organs (chronic tonsillitis, acute laryngopharyngitis, acute and chronic pharyngitis, tracheitis, bronchitis);
in dentistry (acute and recurrent aphthous stomatitis, lichen planus of the oral mucosa, periodontitis);
in gastroenterology (chronic gastroduodenitis, enteritis, colitis, enterocolitis);
in dermatology (microbial eczema, neurodermatitis, rosacea, acne vulgaris);
in gynecology (non-specific inflammatory diseases of the vagina and cervix (colpitis, cervicitis);
in urology (chronic pyelonephritis, chronic cystitis, urethritis, chronic prostatitis).

Dosage and Administration
Elekasol is applied in the form of freshly prepared broth inside, outwardly or locally (including inhalation).
Two filter bags (4 g) are placed in a glass or enamel bowl, 200 ml (1 cup) of boiling water are poured, covered and infused for 15 minutes, periodically pressing the filter bags with a spoon, then they are drained, the volume of the resulting infusion is brought to 200 with boiled water ml.
In diseases of the respiratory tract and upper respiratory tract, Elekasol is used for 2-3 weeks at the same time inside and topically in the form of rinses and inhalations 2-5 times a day.
In dentistry, Elekasol is used for 5-7 days simultaneously inwards and locally in the form of rinses, irrigations, lotions and for soaking the turunds diluted 2-4 times with warm decoction 2-5 times a day.
In gastroenterology, Elecasol is administered orally for 2-3 weeks.
In gynecology, Elekasol is used for 2-4 weeks at the same time inside and locally 1-2 times a day in the form of douches, irrigations and lotions with warm, diluted decoction.
In urology, Elasacol decoction is taken orally for 2-3 weeks, topically in the form of microclysters.
In dermatology, Elecasol is used for 2-3 weeks simultaneously inwards and outwardly in the form of lotions.

Contraindications
Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug.
Special instructions
To carry out inhalations (including using an ultrasonic inhaler), use only warm or hot decoction of Elecasol (using a cold decoction, bronchospasm may develop!).
