Clinical Pharmacology
Combined drug that has antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effect.
Paracetamol has a antipyretic and analgesic effect. Non-narcotic analgesic, blocking COX-1 and COX-2 mainly in the central nervous system, affecting the centers of pain and thermoregulation. In inflammatory tissues, cellular peroxidases neutralize the effect of paracetamol on COX, which explains the almost complete absence of an anti-inflammatory effect.
Ascorbic acid plays an important role in the regulation of redox processes, carbohydrate metabolism, blood clotting, tissue regeneration, increases the body's resistance.
Diphenhydramine has an antihistamine and anti-inflammatory, sedative and hypnotic effect.
Calcium gluconate is a regulator of calcium and phosphorus metabolism.
Rutozid reduces capillary permeability and fragility, has antioxidant properties.
Indications
Hyperthermia for colds and other infectious and inflammatory diseases.
Composition
1 (5 g) bag contains:
- paracetamol 500 mg,
- ascorbic acid 200 mg,

Dosage and Administration
Inside after eating 1 pack. 3-4 times a day for 3-5 days. Dissolve 1 package of drug in 1/2 cup of hot water (a slight sediment in the glass is allowed). Apply freshly prepared solution.
Adverse reactions
Skin allergic reactions, nausea, vomiting, headache, drowsiness, general weakness, dizziness.
Seldom - thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, agranulocytosis.
With long-term use in high doses. possible hepatotoxic and nephrotoxic action.
Contraindications
With caution: Gilbert's syndrome (constitutional hyperbilirubinemia), childish age (up to 16 years).
Drug interactions
The combination of the drug with barbiturates, anticonvulsants, difenin, carbamazepine, rifampicin, zidovudine and other inducers of liver microsomal enzymes should be avoided.
Pregnancy and Lactation
Contraindications: pregnancy; lactation period.
Special instructions
In order to avoid toxic damage to the liver should not be combined with the use of the drug with the use of ethanol.
Influence on ability to drive motor transport and control mechanisms
During the period of treatment it is necessary to refrain from driving vehicles and practicing potentially hazardous activities that require increased concentration and psychomotor speed.
Overdosage
Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, after 1-2 days - liver failure, encephalopathy, coma.
Treatment: induce vomiting, flush the stomach, the appointment of adsorbents (Activated charcoal), symptomatic therapy (the introduction of methionine, acetylcysteine).
