Clinical Pharmacology

Relcer - antacid, carminative.

Pharmacodynamics

Neutralizes free hydrochloric acid in the stomach, which leads to a decrease in the digestive activity of gastric juice. Does not cause secondary hypersecretion of gastric juice. It has an adsorbing and enveloping effect, reduces the influence of damaging factors on the gastric mucosa. Accelerates the healing of gastric and duodenal ulcers. Reduces flatulence in the intestines.

Indications

peptic ulcer and duodenal ulcer in the acute phase;
acute gastritis, chronic gastritis with increased and normal secretory function in the acute phase; duodenitis;
hiatal hernia; reflux esophagitis;
discomfort and pain in the epigastrium with errors in the diet, after taking drugs, drinking coffee, nicotine, alcohol.

Composition

1 tablet contains:

Active substances: aluminum hydroxide dry 250 mg; magnesium hydroxide 250 mg; simethicon 40 mg; licorice roots extract dehydrated dry (in terms of dry substance) 400 mg;

Excipients: sucrose; sodium saccharinate; methyl parahydroxybenzoate (methyl paraben); propyl parahydroxybenzoate (propyl paraben); magnesium stearate; cocoa beans; talc; corn starch; Povidone K30; anise seed oil; peppermint leaf oil.

Dosage and Administration

The tablet should be chewed and washed down with water.

Adults and children over the age of 15 are prescribed 1 or 2 pills 3-4 times a day, daily after meals or as needed.

Children from 10 to 15 years prescribed half the recommended dose for adults.

Adverse reactions

Constipation, nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps, change in taste, hypermagnemia, hypophosphatemia, hypocalcemia, hypercalciuria, osteomalacia, osteoporosis, hyperaluminemia, encephalopathy, nephrocalcinosis, renal impairment, allergic reactions. In patients with concomitant renal insufficiency - thirst, lowering blood pressure, hyporeflexia.

Contraindications

Drug interactions

It can adsorb some drugs, thus reducing their absorption. Reduces and slows the absorption of digoxin, indomethacin, salicylates, chlorpromazine, phenytoin, H₂- histamine blocker, beta bile acids - chenodeoxycholic and ursodeoxycholic, penicillamine, iron and lithium preparations, quinidine, lansoprazole, meksiletina, ketoconazole.

When taken concurrently with drugs in enteric dosage forms, the increased alkalinity of the gastric juice can lead to accelerated disruption of the skin and irritation of the stomach and duodenum.

m-holinoblokatory, slowing gastric emptying, increase and prolong the effect of the drug.

Pregnancy and Lactation

Contraindicated use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Special instructions

The interval between taking Reltsera and other medicines should be 1-2 hours.

With prolonged use (more than 14 days) requires regular medical supervision.

Overdosage

Symptoms: with prolonged high doses, the formation of kidney stones, constipation, drowsiness, hypermagnesia. Signs of metabolic alkalosis can also be observed: mood changes, numbness or muscle pain, nervousness and fatigue, unpleasant taste sensations.

Treatment: it is necessary to take measures for the rapid removal of the drug: flush the stomach, induce vomiting, take activated charcoal.
