Clinical Pharmacology
Plastoquinonyldecyltriphenylphosphomy bromide (PDTP) is a derivative of plastoquinone, which is linked via a linker chain (CU) to the triphenylphosphine residue. PDTP in low (nanomolar) concentrations exhibits high antioxidant activity. It also has a stimulating effect on the process of tear production, epithelization, contributes to the stability of the tear film.
Indications
Dry eye syndrome.
