Pharmacodynamics
Trombless® Plus is a combination drug.
Sodium Heparin is a direct anticoagulant, anti-inflammatory, anti-proliferative, anti-edematous and analgesic. Reduces platelet aggregation, binds to antithrombin III, preventing the transfer of prothrombin to thrombin. Inhibits thrombin activity. Reduces the activity of hyaluronidase, increases blood fibrinolytic properties. It improves microcirculation and activates tissue metabolism, thereby accelerating the resorption of hematomas and blood clots, ultimately restores the patency of the veins, clinically this is accompanied by a pronounced analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect.
Dexpanthenol - provitamin B5 - in the skin turns into pantothenic acid, which is part of coenzyme A, which is involved in the processes of acetylation, carbohydrate and fat metabolism; stimulates skin regeneration, normalizes cellular metabolism, increases the strength of collagen fibers. It has a regenerating, vitamin, metabolic and anti-inflammatory effect, improves the absorption of heparin.
Troxerutin - flavonoid (a derivative of rutin), has a P-vitamin activity; has a veno-tonic, angioprotective, anti-edema, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effect. It participates in redox processes, blocks hyaluronidase, stabilizes hyaluronic acid of cell membranes and reduces capillary permeability and fragility, increases their tone.
Increases the density of the vascular wall, reduces the exudation of the liquid part of the plasma and diapedes blood cells. Reduces inflammation in the vascular wall, limiting adhesion to its surface platelets.
Benzocaine is a local anesthetic for surface anesthesia. Reduces the permeability of the cell membrane to sodium ions, displaces calcium ions from receptors located on the inner surface of the membrane, blocks the conduction of nerve impulses. It prevents the appearance of pain impulses in the endings of sensory nerves and their passage through the nerve fibers. Benzocaine dilates the surface vessels, promoting heparin absorption.
Pharmacokinetics
A small amount of heparin is absorbed from the skin surface into the systemic circulation. The maximum concentration of the drug in the blood is noted 8 hours after application. Excretion of heparin, mainly occurs through the kidneys, the half-life of 12 hours.
Troxerutin is well absorbed from the skin surface when applied externally, penetration into the systemic circulation is clinically insignificant.
Dexpanthenol, when applied topically, is rapidly absorbed by the skin and converted into pantothenic acid. Its concentration in the blood - 0.5-1 mg / l, in the serum - 100 mg / l. Pantothenic acid is not metabolized in the body (except for inclusion in coenzyme A), it is excreted unchanged.
Benzocaine with dermal application is practically not absorbed. It has an immediate analgesic effect: the speed of the onset of the effect begins 1 second after application and lasts an average of 4-6 hours.
1 g of gel contains:
active ingredients: sodium heparin - 1000 IU (8.33 mg with activity of heparin sodium 120 IU / mg), troxerutin - 20.0 mg, dexpanthenol - 100.0 mg, benzocaine - 1.0 mg;
excipients: ethanol, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, trolamine, carbomer, glycerol, water.

Locally. Apply with a thin layer to the affected area and around it 2-3 times a day, evenly spreading over the skin surface with light rubbing movements until completely absorbed. The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks. The need for further treatment is determined by the attending physician, based on the severity of the pathological process and the results of clinical tests. With the recurrence of the disease, the treatment can be carried out 2-3 times a year.
In case of trophic ulcers with weak exudation, before using the preparation, the wound surface is cleaned of exudate and necrotic tissues, if necessary, washed with 3% hydrogen peroxide, Furacilin 1: 5000 or chlorhexidine digluconate 0.05% and dried. The gel is applied in a uniform thin layer so that the entire affected surface is covered with the preparation, and a sterile gauze bandage is applied. Bandages are changed 1 time per day. With an open method of treatment, the drug is applied 1-2 times a day. The duration of treatment is determined by the dynamics of epithelialization.
Possible local manifestations of allergic reactions (skin rash, itching).
Hypersensitivity to Venolife components, open infected wounds or wounds with abundant exudation.
Venolife® not contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation.
Venolife is not intended for use in ophthalmology, for intravaginal and rectal administration.
