Clinical Pharmacology
The drug for local use, which is due to the properties of the components included in its composition.
Dexpanthenol is a derivative of pantothenic acid. In the body it turns into pantothenic acid, which is a component of coenzyme A and is involved in acetylation, carbohydrate and fat metabolism, in the synthesis of acetylcholine, corticosteroids, porphyrins; stimulates the regeneration of the skin, mucous membranes, normalizes cellular metabolism, accelerates mitosis and increases the strength of collagen fibers. It has a regenerating, metabolic and weak anti-inflammatory effect.
When applied topically, it is rapidly absorbed from the nasal mucosa and is converted into pantothenic acid and binds to plasma proteins (mainly beta-globulins and albumin).
Moreal Plus helps to maintain the normal physiological state of the nasal mucosa. Trace elements that are part of Moreal Plus, improve the function of the ciliated epithelium, which increases the resistance of the mucous membrane to the introduction of pathogenic bacteria and viruses, promotes its purification.
The drug contributes to the dilution of mucus and the normalization of its production in the mucous goblet cells.
The drug helps to flush and remove street and room dust, bacteria, foreign particles and allergens from the nasal mucosa, reducing the local inflammatory process.
Indications
- Violation of the integrity of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity (minor damage);
- acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of the nasal cavity, paranasal sinuses and nasopharynx in complex therapy;
- adenoiditis;
- allergic and vasomotor rhinitis in adults and children (especially in individuals with hypersensitivity to drugs or with a predisposition to it);
- for regeneration of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity in the postoperative period (in the hospital and outpatient setting);
- prevention of infections of the nasal cavity in the autumn-winter period;
- protection against permanent adverse effects on the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract (smokers; drivers of vehicles; people working in hot and dusty workshops living in regions with harsh climatic conditions);
- in order to preserve the physiological characteristics of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity during its dryness, as well as in changed microclimatic conditions for people living and working in rooms with conditioned air and / or central heating;
- nasal cavity hygiene (to soften and remove nasal secretions).

Sea water (from the North Atlantic Ocean) - 250.0 mg, potassium dihydrogen phosphate - 0.2 mg, highly purified water - 748.6 mg.

Dosage and Administration
Locally.
For therapeutic purposes
Children from 1 year to 7 years: 4 times a day, two injections in each nasal passage;
children from 7 to 16 years: 4 - 6 times a day, two injections in each nasal passage;
adults: 4 - 8 times a day for two - three injections in each nasal passage.
The course of treatment in all cases is 2 to 4 weeks (at the discretion of the attending physician). It is recommended to repeat the course in a month.
With the preventive purpose and with dryness of the nasal mucosa
Children from birth to 1 year may use the drug as follows: spraying Moreal Plus on a cotton pad and introducing the turundum into the nasal passage in order to soften and remove nasal secretions up to 1-2 times a day;
Children from 1 year to 7 years: 1 - 3 times a day, one or two injections in each nasal passage;
children from 7 to 16 years: 2 to 4 times a day, two injections in each nasal passage;
adults: 3 - 6 times a day, two - three injections in each nasal passage.
Perhaps the use of the drug up to 2 months.
Before the first use of the drug, you must remove the protective cap; holding the bottle in one hand, press it until a fine spray is achieved.
When using the drug, a nasal tip is inserted into the nostril and pressed on the vial 1-2 times. Injection is made on the inhale.
For hygienic purposes, the nasal cap should be kept dry. Each bottle should be used individually.
To guarantee the perfect quality of the product and the functioning of the dosing system, do not disassemble the bottle (for example, remove the pump cover from the bottle).
