Clinical Pharmacology
Bilobil is a phytopreparation that improves cerebral and peripheral circulation. Biologically active substances of the extract of leaves of ginkgo biloba (flavone glycosides, terpene lactones) help reduce the permeability of the vascular wall, prevent platelet aggregation. As a result, microcirculation and oxygen and glucose supply to the brain and peripheral tissues are improved.
Indications
Bilobil is prescribed for persons with age-related cerebral circulation, accompanied by:
- attention disorders;
- memory disorders;
- violation of intellectual abilities;
- a sense of anxiety, fear;
- dizziness;
- tinnitus;
- sleep disorders.
Also appointed in cases of circulatory disorders of the lower extremities.

Dosage and Administration
Inside, after eating, with a small amount of water, 40 mg Bilobil 3 times a day for at least 1 month.
Adverse reactions
Rarely: allergic skin reactions (redness, skin rash, swelling, itching), dyspepsia, headache, dizziness, insomnia, decreased blood clotting.
Contraindications
- reduced blood clotting;
- erosive gastritis;
- gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer in the acute phase;
- acute disorders of cerebral circulation;
- acute myocardial infarction;
- children's and teenage age up to 18 years;
- hypersensitivity to the drug;
- pregnancy and lactation.
Special instructions
In case of frequent sensations of dizziness and noise in the head, consult a doctor. In case of sudden deterioration or hearing loss, you should immediately consult a doctor. Due to the presence of Bilobil in the lactose preparation, it is not recommended for patients with congenital galactosemia, glucose or galactose malabsorption congenital lactose deficiency.
