Clinical Pharmacology
KARIPASIM has proteolytic activity. The drug cleaves necrotic tissue, thins viscous secretions, exudates, blood clots .. By its action, karypazim is close to chymotrypsin and trypsin.
Indications
Caripazim is used for third-degree burns as a means to accelerate the rejection of scabs and cleanse granulating wounds from residues of purulent-necrotic tissues.
Composition
Active ingredients: papain, chymopapain A, chymopapain B, peptidase A, peptidase B, lysocin.

Dosage and Administration
Caripazim is applied topically in the form of 0.5%, 1% or 2% solutions, depending on the scab thickness. Solutions are prepared ex tempore 0.5% solution of novocaine or isotonic sodium chloride solution. The napkin moistened with the preparation is placed on the burn surface, covered with a moisture-proof bandage. At the same time process no more than 30% of the total surface of the body. The dressing is changed 1 time per day or 1 time in 2 days, while removing the detached necrotic tissue. The course of treatment from 4 to 12 days.
